My name is Megan Childs, also Meg, and I have been in the service and hospitality industry now for almost nine years! 

I have my BBA and MBA in Entrepreneurship and Management from Dallas Baptist University. I am extremely passionate about bringing excellent service and personal hospitality to the event management industry.

Dandelion Grove Events & Hospitality has been a culminating dream of mine for the past five years! I have always been drawn to the organizational aspect of hospitality and the basis that it is for a fruitful event. I began planning and coordinating events for friends and family; then suddenly I was dipping my toes into much more! 

I have a personal ethos to be a lifelong learner – committed to growing in both knowledge and practice for the sake of faithful stewardship. 

And that is exactly what I hope to do through Dandelion Grove – steward the trust of my clients as I orchestrate their special events with genuine hospitality and care!

Hi! My name is Hailey Minneman and I am so thankful you are here! I have been in the wedding industry for a few years now, and have been in the hospitality world for over five years.

Hospitality and events have always been a fun part of life for me… but weddings take the cake.
I am extremely type A, so I love the organization that goes on behind the scenes to bring such important gatherings to life. There is nothing more special to me than making sure your event is flawless and exactly what you envisioned. I view weddings with great stewardship because you have entrusted me to be part of your biggest day. Truly the greatest honor for me.

Lead Planner 

My name is Katy Thomson, and I’ve spent the past ten years immersed in the world of weddings and event planning. What began as a passion for organization and hospitality has grown into a career dedicated to elevating every celebration I touch.

I love using my experience, creativity, and logistical know-how to make each bride’s day feel effortless, personal, and beautifully intentional. Over the years I’ve had the joy of guiding couples through the planning process, bringing clarity to the details, and crafting events that feel deeply reflective of who they are.
At my core, I believe in serving with care, calm, and excellence. My goal is simple: to honor the trust my clients place in me and orchestrate their most meaningful moments with the warmth, professionalism, and thoughtfulness they deserve.

  • The beauty of a Coordinator is that it allows all of your bridesmaids, mothers, and aunts to be fully present to celebrate you. Dandelion Grove coordinators are dedicated to doing the work to bring your visions to life and facilitate all of the needs for your event, so that you can cherish each moment with the most important people surrounding you. Moral of the story is, your mom should not be putting in the work on your wedding day!

  • Yes! The Lead Coordinator will always be accompanied by an assistant for your event needs.

  • We are primarily focused in DFW, but we are always up for a road trip depending on the distance from Dallas! Please inquire directly for more details!

  • Please do! It is a good idea to include any vendors that will be present for your reception (i.e. photographer, videographer, DJ, coordinators, etc.).

  • After your initial consultation, the contract process will begin. Upon signing the contract, the initial deposit will be due in order to secure your event date in Dandelion Grove’s calendar!
